What to expect at your Birdal Sample Sale appointment
What is a sample sale?
During the Sample Sale event, all regular stock gowns are removed from the floor, and you’ll be shopping only sample gowns – dresses sold off the rack at a discounted price. Every gown is take-home-today, meaning no ordering and no waiting months. It’s perfect for brides on a shorter timeline or anyone hoping to find a designer dress for less.
Pricing & Purchasing
If you find the one, the dress is purchased the same day, and full payment is required at checkout. We are unable to place holds on gowns, and all dresses are first-come, first-served. If you leave to think about it, it may not be there when you return.
Sizing & Alterations (very important!)
Wedding dresses are designed to be altered and are not expected to fit perfectly off the rack. Most gowns can typically be altered up to four sizes down. We offer in-store alterations (optional), and we encourage keeping an open mind since your perfect dress may not be your exact size on the hanger.
How Shopping Works
Dresses are organized by size to make browsing easier. Your appointment is one hour, and it goes quickly, so it helps to arrive with a general idea of what you like while staying open to the stylist’s suggestions. A bridal stylist will guide you through the entire process.
What To Bring To Your Appointment
We recommend nude undergarments, a hair tie or clip to help visualize styles, and shoes similar to your wedding height if you have them. Most importantly, bring the decision-makers, the people you truly need there, when it’s time to say yes.
Important Things To Note!
Many gowns are one-of-a-kind samples, so once they’re sold, they’re gone. Minor wear from try-ons is normal and reflected in the pricing. Alterations such as hemming, straps, bustles, and fit adjustments are expected after purchase, and we recommend coming prepared to make a decision during your appointment.
